My name is Holiday, and this is my blog.
I live in New York City, but grew up in South Florida, went to school in Chicago, studied abroad in Munich, then lived in DC, Taipei, and Pristina. I speak three additional languages and carry three passports. My first job out of college was as an obituary writer. Fortunately, I have since left the death beat.
I am a journalist, a former international stewardess, and a perennial student with a penchant for taking foreign language classes.
So many things happening in culture and current affairs fascinate me – particularly the stuff that never makes it on the maps. Throughout this blog you will find interviews with socio-cultural trendsetters, country posts from the places I’ve been, as well as rundowns of some of my adventures, which now includes being a mom to two little cheeky twin monkeys.
